It's true.
Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster was born in British Columbia.
Twins first baseman Justin Morneau was, too.
And Dodgers catcher Russell Martin is from Montreal.
"Pretty exciting," Morneau said. "It's pretty cool. That's something we're definitely proud of."
